TREATMENT PROGRAMS

For a healthy, beautiful lawn and outstanding service, choose SunSpot for your Lawn Treatment Program! Sunspot customizes your lawn treatment program to fit the exact needs of your lawn. Regular service calls ensure that our Certified Technicians stay on top of your lawn throughout the growing season.  This approach ensures your lawn gets the right treatments at the right time to achieve optimum health. Our annual program breaks down as follows:

• January – February: Pre- and post-emergent weed control.
• March – April: Fertilizer to promote early green-up, crabgrass prevention and broadleaf weed control.
• May – June: Fertilizer to deepen your lawn’s color. Broadleaf weed control is applied if necessary.
• June – July: Fertilizer and grassy weed control if necessary for problem weeds such as dallisgrass and nutgrass.
• August – September: Fertilizer, weed and insect control.
• September – October: The final fertilization treatment of the season plus pre- and post-emergent weed control.
• November – December: Pre- and post-emergent weed control and disease control for winterization.

Treatment programs include all necessary pre and post emergent to eliminate and control the germination of weeds, both grassy and broadleaf  are targeted . 

Liquid fertilizer and Micronutrients are applied to enhance growth and color of the existing turf. 

Warmer months applications consist of slow release granular  fertilizer being applied to turf grass. These applications will insure your turf grass is thick, healthy and green. 

Insect and Disease services are included in the program and applied only as needed to control turf damaging insects. Season long ant control can be added as an optional service.
